Fred Walser

About Fred              

Fred is a longtime community activist and resident of the 39th District. In addition to his 28 years of service in the state patrol, Fred served as the Police Chief for the City of Sultan and helped bring E.M.S. service to east county. Fred has served on various youth, justice, and health boards across Snohomish county. His long-term commitment to the citizens of East Snohomish County is highly respected and valued. Fred has a broad base of experience in law enforcement, transportation, and education. Fred understand the most important issues facing our district and state, and will fight to make them a priority in the coming years.

Fred is married to his wife of 36 years, Donnetta J. Walser, a retired teacher in the Monroe School District and present two-term Mayor for the city of Monroe. They have two sons and two grandchildren.
